Seaford’s Hot Chocolate Run scheduled for December 3

The Seaford Wellness Council’s eighth annual Hot Chocolate Run/Walk is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, December 3. 

This popular event, beginning and ending at Seaford High School, offers a number of prizes as well as a flat, safe, well-outlined course through the streets of Seaford.
   
All participants receive a T-shirt and enjoy bagels and hot chocolate following the race. For the top-performing or master male and female runners, trophies will be provided while the winning Seaford residents will be awarded trophies courtesy of the Lion’s Club.         

First-, second- and third-place medals will be given to males and females in age groups starting at nine and under, as well as every five-year- age group to 80 and over. Medals will also be given to each runner in the first place centipede. Walkers are welcome!
   
Entry fees are $20 for those who register online through www.active.com.        

The paper application fee of $25 (made payable to the Seaford Wellness Council) must be received by November 27. Late registration, and number and T-shirt pick-up are at the Seaford High School auditorium on Friday, December 2, from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, December 3, from 7:30-8:45 a.m. The fee for late- and race-day applicants is $30.
