The Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs extended their winning streak to four games with a 6-3 win over Massapequa. and a blowout victory over Bethpage 11-1. Coach Joe Mark said that in both games, “Our team played very well as a whole. The break out was good from our zone and we outskated them.”
The Bulldogs, now with a 7-2-0-1 record, are gaining steam as they approach the half way mark of the season. Coach Mark said that as the season has progressed, the team’s chemistry has increased, as expected.
The Bulldogs will look to continue their winning streak as they take on Great Neck, Sunday at 7:30 p.m at Iceworks, and Jericho, Monday at 9 p.m at Newbridge Arena. Monday night’s game will also feature a fundraiser by the Merrick Lions Club, to benefit Purple Heart Pups.
The evening will offer such fun-filled events as raffles, door prizes, a 50-50 and a Chuck-a-Puck.
Suggested donations are $3 per adult and $1.50 per student.
