Holiday dinner at the rec
The community is invited.
With the help of friends and local business owners, Mayor Andrew Hardwick will host a free community holiday dinner for the residents of the Village of Freeport on Tuesday, December 13, at the Freeport Recreation Center, 130 East Merrick Road. The holiday celebration will take place from 5-8 p.m.
The event is open to all Freeport residents; identification verifying that you are a Freeport resident must be shown in order to attend.
“The holidays are a time for people to come together, spread peace, joy and show others that you really do care,” said Mayor Hardwick. “We are a great community and have a lot to be proud of. What better way to enjoy the holidays than with the people right here in our own community.”
