Bellmore-Merrick Hadassah plans two events
Zumba and a Chinese Auction kick off the new year.
The Merrick-Bellmore Dayan Lilah Group of Hadassah announces two events scheduled in the new year.
Move it and shake it with Hadassah as you burn off all those extra holiday calories at a one-hour Zumba class scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, at 7:45 p.m.
This event will take place at La Mystika, 1812 Merrick Road, Merrick (across from McDonald’s). $15 per person includes a happy hour featuring tropical drinks and snacks. You can RSVP by Wednesday, January 4, by e-mailing dayanlilah@gmail.com.
Dayan Lilah’s Chinese Auction is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8, at 7:30 p.m. at La Strada Restaurant, 2100 Merrick Avenue, Merrick (enter from the parking lot behind the building). This fun evening will include a full dinner and dessert. Guests are asked to bring a beautifully wrapped gift valued at $10; attach a creative clue so one can guess what it is.
Attendees will bid on items and the highest bidder wins. All profits will benefit the works of Hadassah. The cost is $30 for members or $36 for non-members. You can RSVP to dayanlilah@gmail.com by January 28, as no walk-ins will be accepted.
