Thank you Mr. Falta
Seaford Chamber honors Rick Falta.
During its annual holiday party hosted by Cara Mia Due restaurant, the Seaford Chamber of Commerce expressed its gratitude to Rick Falta for more than 30 years of service to the Seaford Community. Soon after he opened Seaford’s Victor Insurance Agency on Merrick Road, he joined the Seaford Chamber of Commerce. “He was a commanding presence in our chamber,” said Seth Sultan, president of the Sultan Agency. “He was past president and several times, our treasurer.” Mr. Sultan added, “Whenever permits and licenses for chamber events and outdoor fairs were needed, he could always be counted on to tackle those details.” Joining the chamber with a citation of appreciation are, from left, immediate past chamber President Curt Schmitt; chamber President Ken Jacobsen, Hempstead Town Councilwoman Angie Cullin; Rick Falta (representing county Legislator Dave Denenberg); Cara Gallone and Hempstead Town Clerk Mark Bonilla.

Meanwhile, Seaford Library President Peter Ruffner visits Cara Mia’s kitchen to chat with owner, “chef du soir” and chamber trustee Sergio Deciantes.
