Learn how to access pdfs online for free.

Readers and visitors will notice our full editions are now available online to download to members of our website. So if you are missing an edition or want extra copies of stories, you will be able to download and print as many copies as you want.

This free service to the community is a benefit to many, but to those who subscribe and have the paper delivered to their mailboxes at home – they still will get their copies of the news first!

By posting the entire editions online we are making our news available to classrooms and students who may be looking for a local angle on a current events project. This also gives you, the reader, an opportunity to print extra coupons or specials from our advertisers.

Readers will now also be able to familiarize themselves and check out stories and advertisements from one of our other four publications – all for free! We encourage our print subscribers to also join our website.

To sign up and gain access, click on the top right corner of our website and click where it says “subscribe here.” You will be prompted to provide minimal contact information, which we promise to never sell to an outside source. Down the pike we will use your information to contact you with newsletters, breaking news and specials – unless you opt out of that service, of course.

Once you sign up for the website you will be logged in, issues are available under the full papers online section and can be downloaded and viewed through a pdf reader (such as Abobe Acrobat Reader.) Remember your user name and password for future access. You can always reset your password if lost or call us at 516-378-5320 if you need help.

Recently, this newspaper received substantial praise from its online readers,  Facebook fans and twitter followers for our continuing coverage of a home invasion as news was breaking. It is our goal to use the website and social networking to keep you informed of all that is happening in the communities we serve – whether you receive our award-winning printed editions or not.

To those that receive our printed editions, there will be specials just for you to show our appreciation for your reader loyalty. Find us online at www.merricklife.com.
