Merrick is the location of choice for TV

The Onion Sports, a popular web series is set to debut on Comedy Central.

THE ONION COMES TO TOWN: An online web series, the Onion Sports Network, is due to get a regular television spot on Comedy Central in early 2011. Pre-production shooting began this week in Merrick at a home on Jill Court. Episodes can be found on Hulu.com and youtube.com.
