Bellmore residents observe Veterans Day.

Community honors Bellmore's veterans

Members of American Legion Post 948, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2770, Ladies Auxiliary of Post 2770, Boy Scout Troop 192, Girl Scout Troop 924, Brownie Troop 956 and the Nassau County Fraternal Order of Police all came to Veterans  Memorial Park in Bellmore Village to pay tribute, honor and remember all those veterans in uniform who lost their lives so that the United States of America remains a free and forever sovereign nation.

LADIES AUXILIARY from VFW Post 2770 along with members of the VFW Post 2770, stand and observe the solemn occasion of the day.  

 

American Legion Post 948 Chaplain Rich Levring offers the invocation alongside VFW Post 2770 Commander Vincent Montera.
