William H. Schefer
William H. Schefer, of Holbrook (formerly of North Merrick), died on November 6. He was 82.
Mr. Schefer was the husband of Barbara, father of Keith, William, David and Ellen Cronin. He was the brother of Ethel Hults and grandfather of six.
Mr. Schefer served eight years in the U.S. Navy as a B.M.S.N. He was on the boxing team in the Navy as well as at Grumman. He was retired from the Town of Hempstead. Visiting was at Moloney’s Holbrook Funeral Home and was buried at Calverton National Cemetery.
