| THESE BAND OF BROTHERS: A sea of American flags stands in front of the Seaford train station in honor of Veterans Day. The flags were donated by Seaford resident Mike Mancino and placed in front of the train station along Sunrise Highway by the Seaford Wellness Council and the Seaford American Legion. People can buy a flag and have the name of a veteran or soldier put on it. Seaford resident Peter Ruffner bought a flag in honor of his father, a World War II veteran. Once the flag comes down on November 28 you make keep it. Call Michael DeSilvio for more information at 384-8536, or go to the Seaford Wellness Council website,www.seafordwellnesscouncil.com, and click on Field of Honor to see the details. |
