Baldwin school budget vote

Residents will get a chance to vote on the 17th.

Baldwin residents will go to the polls on Tuesday, May 17 to vote on the proposed school budget and to elect one individual to serve as trustee on the Baldwin Board of Education.
   
The Baldwin School District is proposing a $119,977,586 budget for the 2011-2012 school year. This represents a budget increase of 2.97% and carries a tax levy increase of 2.79%.   
   
Three candidates are running for one position on the Baldwin School Board. They are incumbent Anne Hannon, and challengers Laura Williams and Gregory McGlynn.
