“American Idol” alum sings original song at Coliseum: Calhoun High School junior Robbie Rosen poses with his parents, Loren and Matt, at the Nassau Coliseum on Saturday before he sang his original song “Make It Through” for an arena full of Islanders hockey fans.

John Shea, a usher at the Islanders game, was a Calhoun High School social studies teacher for 35 years.
