Happy Birthday, Alexandra Dillworth. The Leader’s 2010 First Baby of the Year turned one year old on January 9.  She is the daughter of Richard Dillworth and Ana Luisa Siqueira of Freeport. Alexandra is their first child. 

The family is very excited. In June  little Alexandra will become a big sister, making 2011 another banner year  for the Dillworth family.

But more about Alexandra. She is blonde and blue-eyed and the apple of her parents’ eyes. “She is very advanced for her age,” boasted Dad. Alexandra learned to walk at about ten months of age. “She perfected her walking techniques when we were on the beach in Aruba and learned to make her way down to the water,” said Dad.

Alexandra wants to do more than just walk. It seems this little dynamo “loves music and dances all the time,” laughed Dad. “She is into everything. She needs to know things. I love to watch her open the [kitchen] cabinets.”

Mr. Dillworth said he and his wife are “happily tired. Mom carries the burden of the load, always chasing her. But she sleeps well at night in her own crib and eats well. She loves fish, which is a good thing since we live on the waterfront,” he joked.

The Leader is presently looking for its 2011 First Baby of the Year.
