William Edward Eagan
Life-long Merokian dies at the age of 90.
William Edward Eagan died on Thursday, January 27, at the age of 90.
Mr. Eagan was a lifetime resident of Merrick and owned a real estate and insurance business here. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Theresa (Murphy) Eagan, two daughters, Moira (Arthur) Apuzzo and Ann-Marie Villareale, and one son, William (Kathleen) E. Eagan Jr.
The family received visitors Sunday at N.F. Walker Funeral Home, Merrick, and a Mass of Christian burial took place on Monday at curé of ars Roman Catholic church.
Interment was at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
