Happy Easter and Passover to our readers
Recently, someone said he felt it increased his faith to visit the Holy Land because he became a different person when he was there. And that must be the reason why people make pilgrimages, not just to the Holy Land but also to Rome, to Fatima, to Lourdes for Roman Catholics, to Winston-Salem for Moravian Protestants, to Mecca for Muslims.
They go not just to see a place but to become a person more closely connected with God.
For Jews it is also a wonderful feeling to be in Israel, a place where for once they are in the majority.
And that feeling of being together with our own people happens also in celebrating the Passover at home with family and friends. And it happens in gathering for Holy Week services in church and for family Easter dinner.
We wish all our Jewish readers a Happy Passover and all our Christian readers a Happy Easter.
Don't forget there is always room for one more at the table!
